Our Ethos and Mission
“We are confident, well educated and prepared for the future”.
Learning and achievement drive everything we do at Phoenix St Peter academy. Our job, in partnership with parents, is to build the foundations for a successful education; to enable each child to discover the joy of learning; to help them fulfil every aspect of their potential; and to encourage their growth into effective citizens, ready to play their part in the world and their community.
We work hard to ensure that every child is successful in the key areas of English & Maths and we are keen to see this recognised in the results they secure. However, we also want them to learn and experience more than this through a varied curriculum and a range of extra curricular and after-school opportunities that complement our work in the classroom. We value each child as an individual and aim to provide opportunities for pupils to excel in areas where they have a special talent, whether this is science, sport, drama, art, music or through involvement in our many enrichment projects.
Through our four core values of aspiration, creativity, courage and kindness, we have made a commitment to ensuring our children are confident, well-educated and prepared for the future.

At Phoenix St Peter Academy, our mission is to ensure that all children are confident, well-educated and prepared for the future. Our core values inform the way in which we meet our aims. We believe that all behaviour flows from motivation, emotions, and knowledge. Therefore, in order to achieve good behaviours for learning, we work with our children to understand what engages them, inspires them and what help they need. We also teach them, through our core values, social skills and confidence.

Careers and Current Vacancies
Our school recruits and retains staff whose work is excellent everyday. We know this is the only way our children will achieve their potential. We value our staff extremely highly, and endeavour to support them both professionally and in their work-life balance.
