We will be holding an information session for parents and carers of Year 6 pupils regarding their upcoming SAT's exams in May.
This session will take place on Thursday 27th February from 2.45p.m. - 3.15p.m.
As part of Reception Class's pupils' weekly topic around 'Glorious Growing' of humans, plants and animals, they will be entering this year's Suffolk Show's 'School's Garden Competition', themed around 'Our Favourite Book'.
As part of their Geography Unit this half-term, pupils in Year 5 and Year 6 will be visiting Lowestoft Beach on Wednesday 29th January from 1.15p.m. - 2.30p.m.
On Friday 7th February, Phoenix St. Peter Academy will be supporting the NSPCC's 25th Anniversary of their Numbers Day. Children can come to school on this day dressed as something numerical.
A digit, clock, domino, dice, calculator, ruler, computer, playing card, or your favourite football shirt.
We will also be collecting optional donations for the NSPCC on the day.
Year 5 will be having an 'In School Celebration' following the STEMM Detectives visit to the University of East Anglia on Thursday 6th February from 1.30p.m. for pupils only.
We will be holding whole school parent and carer evenings on Tuesday 4th February 2025 and Thursday 6th February 2025, both starting from 3.30p.m.
Year 5 pupils will be visiting the University of East Anglia as part of the UEA Future Stars STEMM Detectives on Friday 31st January.
Children should arrive at school at 8.00a.m. and will return to school at 3.45p.m.
On Wednesday 22nd January from 9.30a.m. - 12.00p.m. Mell Smith, Senior Family Support Worker from Suffolk County Council's Early Help Team will be in school if you would like advice or to discuss how she can help and support you and your family.
Starting Monday 13th January, The High Tide Theatre Company will be coming to Phoenix for 10 weeks of 'In School' workshops to help children develop their reading and writing through creative writing and performing arts.
Pupils in Year 5 will be attending the Gymnastics Festival at Waveney Gymnastics Club on Monday 20th January from 10.00a.m. - 12.00p.m.
