Throughout October, as part of Black History Month, all children will be working on individual pieces based on the work of artist and professor, Lois Mailou-Jones, to be submitted to Lowestoft Town Council's, Black History Month, Schools Creative Arts Competition.

Parents/carers evenings are coming on Tuesday 21st and Thursday 23rd October. Appointments are available from 3.30 to 6.00p.m. and sign-up sheets will be available in the school foyer from Monday 6th October.
Kittles Photographic will be coming to Phoenix St. Peter for individual student photographs.
Family photographs will be taken from 7.45a.m. to 8.45a.m. in The Studio.
Ms. Mizeret will be leading a Harvest Festival Assembly on Friday 17th October (children only).
Alice Tuke from St. Peter's and St. John's church will be joining us, and we will also be accepting non-perishable food donations for the Kirkley Pantry from Wednesday 8th October.
The school nursing team will be coming to the school on Tuesday 21st October to administer the nasal flu vaccine.
Parents/carers will need to complete an E-Consent form which you should have received via email.
Ms. Mizeret will be leading an assembly on Friday 24th October to celebrate the Festival of Diwali.

Parents and carers of our current Reception Class are invited to join Mrs. Hayes for an information session regarding their child's transition to Year 1 on Tuesday 15th July from 3.30p.m. - 4.30p.m.
We will be having a special 'Pizza Party' leavers lunch for our Year 6 children on Friday 11th July.
Year 5 and 6 children will be visiting Lowestoft beach on Thursday 3rd July for lunch, games and ice-cream.
This is a non-uniform event, but trainers must be worn.
Children in Year 6 will be visiting Oulton Broad to take part in different water sports on Wednesday 2nd July 2025.
