Learning Support Assistants

Our Learning Support Assistants play an enormous part of school life, supporting and progressing our pupil's learning and achievement, aspiration, courage, creativity and kindness.

 

 
Welcome to our Learning Support Staff:
 

Miss. Sarah Harvey, Learning Support Assistant, DSL & Thrive Practitioners

Miss. Harvey is a long standing employee at Phoenix St. Peter and over many years has developed her career and practice in the Thrive Approach technique, supporting children with their emotional and behavioural wellbeing.

Miss. Harvey is also a Designated Safeguarding Alternate for the school.

Miss. Harvey's sons both attended Phoenix she she is passionate about our school and children.

Mrs. Karen Everett, Cover Supervisor & HLTA

Mrs. Everett has been with Phoenix St. Peter Academy for many years, supporting our upper Key Stage 2 children with their classroom learning and bespoke provision.  Mrs Everett is also our cover supervisor and HLTA, and is committed to supporting children with interventions and SEND diagnosis when required.

Mrs. Everett is a keen gardener and likes to keep fit, as well as spending time with her growing family.

Mrs. Hayley Morgan, EYFS Learning Support Assistant & DSL

Mrs. Morgan is a Learning Support Assistant in our Reception Class as well as a Designated Safeguarding Lead for our school.  She is passionate about early years provision and was formally a Nursery Manager.

Mrs. Morgan's enjoys spending time with her family and friends and championing children with special educational needs.

Mrs. Morgan is also a Designated Safeguarding Alternate for our school.

Mrs. Katy Sneller, LKS2 Learning Support Assistant

Miss. Sneller is a long-standing Learning Support Assistant and all of her sons have attended Phoenix.  She is passionate about children at Phoenix and enjoys spending time with her family.

 

 

Mrs. Angela Hescott, LKS2 Learning Support Assistant

Mrs. Hescott joined our staff team in September 2023 and is a passionate about children enjoying their natural environment and enjoying the many opportunities they have at Phoenix. Both of Angela's children attend Phoenix and she is an avid supporter of the school.

Mrs. Hescott enjoys yoga, sunshine and everything outdoors.

 

Mrs Felicity King, Extended School Club Leader

Mrs. King runs our Breakfast and Extended School Club Provision and enjoys creating fun activities for the children. She really enjoys spending time with the children and is also a Midday Supervisor at another local primary school!

Fliss loves keeping active and spending time with her husband and grown up children.
