With optimism and positivity now returning it is easy to become a little relaxed about Covid guidelines; however, we remain in a very fragile situation.
Covid continues to look for any opportunity to spread and we must continue to comply with all government guidelines to ensure that we do not experience another School isolation situation, or National Lockdown.
So, to avoid this, please remember to...

DO NOT GATHER AT THE SCHOOL GATES, ARRIVE FROM 8.25 PLEASE!
DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE YOUR CHILDREN'S ARRIVAL TIME!
It is fantastic that children are so keen to come to school in the morning, but we are experiencing lots of families arriving far too early. Please do not arrive before 8.25, so you are then able to go straight onto the playground. It is causing significant congestion at the school gates which has the potential for accidents when vehicles arrive, as well as not being Covid safe, thank you!

Thank you to those who were able to return the recent After School Club Survey. It has given us lots to think about for the rest of this year, but even more importantly for 21/22, and we are looking forward to arranging lots of fun and varied activities and Clubs.
Mr Russell has been busy developing our After School Clubs which will be commencing next week! So watch out for our After School Club Booking Form through Arbor Email and further announcements on the Latest News on our Website, or check into our Facebook and Twitter feeds for more information.
To ensure there are sufficient children to make Clubs fun, we will be operating them on a Bubble basis, for specific year groups only. Clubs will be limited to 24 children and you will recieve a confirmation or decline email depending on numbers. Children who are joining a Club should attend school in their PE Kits.
A Club Booking Form will be sent to parents and carers via Arbor, for all children eligible to join each Club.

As you may have seen on Facebook, Miss Harvey is looking forward to developing a Thrive Garden at the School, which will include a 'River of Positivity' created by the children and family members from painted and decorated pebbles!
We are all really excited to see the Garden and River develop, and we have already received some beautiful pebbles from some of our families.
The Competition closes on May 14th, so please make sure you bring in your Positive Pebbles by then!

Pupil Assessments & SATs...

Pupil Reports & Parent's Evening...
Whilst SATs are not going ahead this May for our Year 2 or Year 6 children, the school continues to assess pupil progress through internal assessments, in line with REAch2's requirements.
Our Year 6 Wagtail Class will also be taking a SATs paper from a previous year in test-style conditions, which will be used in conjunction with Teacher Judgement.
Our Pupil Reports will be issued later in the term, electronically, via Arbor Email.
Parents will also have the opportunity to request a remote meeting with their child's Class Teacher, if they wish.
Further information regarding Reports and Parent Meetings will follow in due course.

More dates to follow!
Keep an eye on the 'Latest News' section of the Home Page!
We are really excited to be planning our Sports Day which will be held after the 21st June, once government guidelines enable us to hold larger events.
We are also thinking about arrangements to celebrate our amazing Year 6 Wagtails transition to High School and will keep you posted with news!

From the School Office...
A number of parents have reported that Emails from the School are going into their Junk Box.
Arbor is working to correct this error, but please take a look at your Junk Box regularly in case we have sent you an email message.
Thank you!
Please make sure that your child's School Lunch and Breakfast Club accounts are topped up regularly to ensure that you are in credit.
We will not be able to offer a pupil a lunch if they have over one week of School Meals outstanding, which is £11.50.
Payments can be made online via the Arbor app, or by Card through the School Office, thank you.
